Where do you want to start? The slices can be played, rearranged, reversed, randomized, etc., again with key switches.Īlso: (1) Digital Audio Tools has a free Indie Fingers sampler available, so you can see if their products fit your need and, (2), AAS StrumGS-2 (VST) has a demo.Īlso: I should have mentioned that I definitely didn't pay more than $50-75 for anything listed below unless it was part of a bundle, and then it was probably not more than $100 for a bundle. It's loop based, but the loops can be changed and/or pitched with key switches, edited, sliced, etc. The price is not bad.Ħ/5: I had some time to play with this and it's a lot like a BigFish Audio KLI instrument. It looks like it can cover a number of bases, but it's loop-based and I'm not sure how easy the interface can slice a loop into single sounds/tones. SONiVOX often has its guitar plugins (Bright Electric Guitar, Classic Bass, and Tatlor Acoustic Guitar) go on sale for $10-or-under.īack to Kontakt: I just purchased this one from Zero-G and haven't even downloaded it yet: PluginBoutique has an upgrade offer for the AAS Strum2 plugin ($49) from the Strum Sessions library (previously on sale for $10). AudioPluginDeals usually has some previous bundles/libraries on sale in their Store section. You just missed some nice sales from Dream Audio Tools (Indie Fingers), Heavyocity (GP03/05 Scoring Guitars1/2), Realitone (Finger Pick), Audio Imperia (Trailer Guitars), Sampleism (Guitar Scaped, Epic Guitar) and Kontakt Hub (Offensive Guitar, Fingerpicked Guitars). There are so many different guitar libraries available because there are so many different guitar categories: electric (clean, distorted, metal, cinematic, ambient, 7-string, baritone), acoustic (6-string steel, 6-string nylon, 12-string, hybrid), ethnic (oud, dombra, bouzouki, etc.), acoustic bass guitar, simple GUIs, GUIs with sequencing/arps, articulations, chording/strumming, loops/phrases/one-shots. I'm just trying to get a better handle on what you're after.
